Adventures in Permaculture: Transition West Coast

“Adventures in Permaculture: Transition West Coast”

Our second documentary project, “Adventures in Permaculture: Transition West Coast,” premiered in September at the North American Permaculture Convergence in Hopland, Calif. The message is how people need to take permaculture to the community level – quickly – to face the challenges of climate change, declining energy supplies and economic collapse.

We interviewed permaculturists on the cutting edge of transforming communities in Northern California, Oregon and Washington: Susan Silber, Penny Livingston, Rachel Kaplan, Trathen Heckman, Carolyne Stayton, Brock Dolman, Larry Goldberg, Jan Spencer, Matt Bibeau and Jacqueline Cramer.

Building on “Adventures in Permaculture: Australia,” our hope is that the video will be a really cool tool to help spread the word about how permaculture and transition can help humanity survive the present and coming crises – all for the price of an average movie ticket! We hope you’ll get a copy or two to pass around to your friends and neighbors!
